I found the little trolls and dragonets very interesting and they add to the whimsical quality of the story.” It gives them the freedom to dream, experiment, think differently, and create their own characters. “ The biggest advantage of adventure stories is that they encourage children to think and be imaginative. “The color of the illustrations by Jim Weidman and the very well-written story by Wendy Nystrom make “James Saves the Moon” a rare treasure for a children’s picture book. None of these images in my head have come true. But this is good, it makes us better writers. These are the thoughts I have and I know many others do. This will be the one where a nice reviewer emails me and says I really do not like your story so will not review instead of posting a 1 star review.Then I try to convince myself it I can only learn from this and do better. They will hate, the story is to long, they catch some grammatical error, etc. It does not matter we are waiting for that one review that will crush us for a little while. It does not matter how many say I love your books, or my kids love your books. While I wait all of sudden I am insecure about my writing. When most of submit us our books to reviewers, we all of sudden become nervous wrecks.
